Uprooting to be Closer to Moab
I moved! I now call the lovely little town of Grand Junction home. (I say little because I came from Denver). Life has been fun adjusting to this new slower paced life. Getting used to the colder winter (hello inversion) has its perks, the sunsets out here are something else. I’ve also got the loveliest little view of Colorado National Monument, and can’t wait to spend the summer devouring books with that view.
In the meantime, I am now only 100 miles away from one of my favorite places in the world - Moab. Or another name we like to call it, the worlds largest playground. While Thanksgiving isn’t really a holiday to be celebrated, my friends and I took the weekend and headed out toward the desert (thank you to all the troopers who drove through awful weather to hang out). Every time I’m in Moab I see something new, I can’t wait for the coming year and all of the nooks and crannies I’ll get to set new sights on.
