VW Bus Engagement Photos at Colorado National Monument

Now that the world is seemingly kinda almost maybe possibly back to normal, I’m able to ride around in the car with my couples again! Ahhh, y’all, I can’t tell you how much of a difference it makes when we can spend some time driving around to different spots. I think there are two benefits to this:

  1. It lets us get to know each other more! Chances are, we’ve only talked via a Zoom call 5 months ago so even 15 minutes in the car lets me in on who you are as a couple, how you engage with each other when you’re not in front of the camera, and what your natural banter and conversation is like!

  2. It allows us to stop at multiple spots in one area! Places like Colorado National Monument, this is great so you get to see more of the National Monument, and you get more variety in the photos!

So a couple days before our time together, I texted B & B and asked if they would mind all of us driving together, and they said yes! BUT that they have a prop with them so it would be best if they drove. Okay! Flash forward to our time together and they pull up in one of their fathers VW bus with the top pulled back and told me to hop in. I about died.

I also LOVE the clothing B & B picked for their time up in Colorado National Monument! I send a What to Wear/ Shoot Experience Guide to all of my couples and this is such a great idea of using the color wheel (or opposite toned clothing to the environment), to really stand out in your photos. OBSESSED is an understatement!
