Not Your Grandma’s Wedding Day.
Imagine This…
Chuggin’ a gas station Red Bull at 4 am, rattling up a bumpy 4x4 road that absolutely probably maybe wasn’t made for your rental car. A dress goes on, clothes get dusty immediately - it’s just you two changing in the wilderness trying to not flash the chipmunks. You’re standing in the middle of nowhere, looking like the cover of a slightly feral wedding magazine, and your person is looking at you like they’ve never seen anything better.
The air’s crisp, the sun’s just stretching over the peaks, and somewhere between zipping up boots and wiping happy tears, it hits you: this is really happening.
Eloping isn’t “less than.” It’s just… less of the stuff you never wanted in the first place.
You just need the right person and a plan that feels like you.

“…She knows how to make people feel comfortable in front of a camera, even if you feel awkward having your picture taken. I cannot recommend her enough!!!!” - J+K
If the idea of “photos all day” makes you Want to Cry….You’re in the right place.
Because This ain’t that.
Sorry, no stiff poses here
No “what do I do with my hands” panic.
No pretending to be models (Unless you really want a slow-mo hair flip moment, in which case, I’ll cue the wind machine (aka nature).
Think less prom photo, more “caught-in-a-movie-montage” energy.
Sometimes I’m chatting With You…
Other times, I’m 50 yards back getting The Shot with the mountains doing their Bob Ross thing behind ya.
I’m not in your face all day. I’m just orbiting. Quietly documenting the joy, the weirdness, the soda-chugging and sweaty-hands-and-oh-crap-we-forgot-the-vows chaos that makes it yours.
This is Just The two of you, doin’ you
Chugging Dr. Pepper
Climbing rocks
Cuddling in the car
Stealing desserts
Chilling a lot
Adventuring a little
Sound like a better time than eight hours of saying cheese?
I agree.
Howdy, I’m Kimberly!
300+ People At My Wedding? Hard Pass.
Hiking 12 miles in a wedding dress? Also hard pass.
I’m not saying I’m anti-hiking, I’m just saying if there’s a bumpy Jeep road that gets us 90% of the way to the view, I’m bringing snacks and calling it a win.
And TBH, same goes for weddings. I’ve never been one for stressful planning, seating charts, or speaking my heart out in front of 100+ people who definitely don’t know my middle name.
So if your internal monologue just screamed “YES,” then hi. By golly, I think we’re gonna get along just great.

This is my actual wedding day timeline!
My partner and I wanted the day to feel intimate but we also wanted to include our immediate family and dog (because, duh). This was PERFECT for us, and the best of both worlds.
Example of a Custom Timeline
-
04:00 AM
Wake up! Sit on the floor while your hair and makeup artist makes you feel pretty and pumps you up for the day. Don't worry, your partner has already made the coffee and the truck is packed and ready to go. Don’t worry about getting dressed yet and opt to hang out in your warm sweatpants.
-
05:00 AM
Leave the cabin to head up a 4WD road to an overlook. Get dressed in your wedding clothes on opposite sides of the car while your dog runs around off leash. Have a first look with each other in your wedding clothes just as the sun crests the mountains. Read your vows to each other privately.
-
07:30 AM
Leave your ceremony site that you got all to yourselves because you woke up for sunrise and no one else is awake yet. Head down to an alpine lake where you make pancakes in the back of the truck. Debate stripping to your birthday suits to run into the alpine lake. Hang out, run around with your dog, tell your partner how much you love them. Be playful.
-
9:00 AM
Head back to your cabin in awe that you got naked and swam in an alpine lake at 8:00 am.
-
10:00 AM
Arrive back at cabin. Spend a few hours napping, eating, or doing whatever else you want because it's your wedding day!!! and you get to call the shots. Photographer goes for a nap.
-
03:00 PM
Photographer meets back up with you for a late lunch or dinner. Pizza on the porch, order takeout, rent a restaurant out, eat leftovers, hire a private chef, cook together, have a picnic, set up a full table in the backcountry. The options are endless.
-
04:00 PM
Get ready (again!) but this time with family. Have a first look with your family. You can do a fun activity with your partner like give each other tattoos, Facetime grandma, grab a drink at the local dive bar, etc. Then you and your two immediate families hop in your old '87 chevy and head up an easy 4WD road. Laugh at how bouncy everyone is in the suburban because there are no springs in the seat.
-
05:00 PM
Read more traditional vows in front of your immediate family so they are included. Followed up by group/family photos, lots of cake, champagne toast, and whatever else your heart desires.
-
07:00 PM
End the evening with sunset photos amongst the wildflowers and alpine glow. Head home to play board games with your family (may I recommend Mexican Dominos or the ol’ classic Cards Against Humanity). Eat all of the ice cream and cake.

We decided to elope less than a week before the big day and Kimberly made everything completely effortless. She was in touch in the days prior location scouting and showing us photos of options around town. She gave me the name of my makeup. I could go on and on... and on, but if you're considering hiring Kimberly, you will not regret it.

From the very beginning Kimberly was on top of everything, which relieved a lot of stress along the journey of planning our wedding. On the wedding day she was so helpful and truly captured the essence of our wedding day down to every detail and precious small moment!

Kimberly was a delight to work with. We almost didn't even book a photographer for our elopement/micro wedding, but now that we're seeing all of the amazing pictures and get to look at them every day and remember the perfect weekend, we're so glad we did!
The pictures are gorgeous, the location scouting was perfection, and her communication was top notch. 12/10.

Ready for a wedding day
that feels true to who you are?

The Whole Damn Weekend
This package is for couples who want to remember the weekend like it felt. Sweaty palms, porch coffee, full-body hugs, big belly laughs, late-night haircuts in the kitchen (?? it’s happened!!), and YES, the vows—but also the stuff around the vows that you’ll be talking about ten years from now.
This is your permission slip to:
- Hang with your people and sneak away just the 2 of you
- Say your vows in the morning and celebrate with loved ones at night
- Soak in the alpenglow. Twice.
- Eat cake for breakfast (I will never stop encouraging this)
- Stay up late stargazing or crash early with burritos and your pup in bed
The whole damn weekend includes:
- 2 hours the night before (tacos! lake swim! tot tubbin'!)
- Up to 12 hours on your wedding day (aka a whole dang day of no rush, don’t even think about looking at that clock, magic)
- 2 hours the morning after (sweatpants, your dog in the bed, full hearts)
Just you two having your full main character moment. And me, somewhere nearby, emotionally invested and aggressively holding back happy tears. And all travel is included. Obvs.

Get In TouchWhere I’ll Be
(AKA My 2025 Travel Schedule)
Every now and then, my schedule lines up with being in the right place at the right time… like, literally, I’ll already be there. Sometimes I’m in town for another elopement, sometimes I’m just camping & hiking with my dog. Either way, that means we get to hang out without needing to book a full-day thing!
So, while I typically only take on 6+ hour bookings for elopements outside of Denver, I’m always stoked to offer shorter coverage (2 to 4 hours) for areas I’m already nearby. Here’s where I’ll be hanging out in 2025:
The seasons are perfect, the snacks are packed, andddd I’m ready when you are.
Not sure if it matches up? Reach out anyway! Worst case scenario I say “not quite!” and we figure something else out. Best case? You get to marry your best friend in the mountains without any hourly requirements.

some frequently asked questions
-
If you want time to breathe! To explore! To have time for the delightful chaos that actually makes the day yours (like squirrels stealing your snacks, or having to stop mid-vows to let a moose walk through) - that’s what 8 hours is for.
It’s not about cramming in more stuff. It’s about not putting your day on a stopwatch.
Most couples book 4 to 8 hours, depending on the vibe:
8 hours is time to chill, wander, snack, and let the good stuff happen naturally - without glancing at the clock every five minutes.
6 hours is for when you want room to breathe, but don’t need all day. Perfect middle ground.
4 hours is vows, a couple-a rad spots, and space for a few snack breaks and ugly cries. Chill but efficient.
2 hours is short, sweet, portrait-focused. Less time for storytelling, more time for a few posed shots.
You don’t have to turn your elopement into a whole saga (unless you want to, in which case I’m grabbing snacks and settling in).
But if you’re dreaming of a day that feels unhurried, honest, and actually fun? You deserve more than a fast photoshoot and a dash to dinner. (Though if it ends in tacos, I better be invited. For professional reasons.)
-
You’ll get abouttttt 50 to 100 photos per hour of coverage, depending on what all we’re doin’.
I send everything over in a online gallery where you can download, share with loved ones, and even order prints. The best part is you can hide photos from visitors so those mid-day jump in the lake in your birthday suit photos = hidden.
-
Editing is one of my favorite and most creative parts of my job so it takes a minute - but trust me. Your gallery will be ready in 6 to 8 weeks and it’s soooo worth the wait.
(Spoiler alert: you also get a few sneak peeks to tide you over while you wait).
-
Elopements are all about doing things your way - including how you pay for them. We can split your payments up into manageable chunks and you can pay with bank transfer orrrr credit card (get those points!).
-
Hell yeah. Colorado let’s you self-solemnize (aka no officient, no witnesses, no permission slips from the government).
Just you, your person, and your puppy dog if you want.
-
Heck yeah you can have the whole day. If you’re dreaming up a sunrise-to-sunset kinda elopement (lake dips, midday chill time, golden hour, stargazing smooches) I’m fully in. We’ll build the timeline together so it feels like an actual adventure, not a photoshoot marathon.
Long days do come with planned breaks (yes, naps and burrito stops are sacred), and no, obvs I’m not clicking the shutter during every single second. Downtime isn’t fully billed, and I’m not lurking while you power nap in the car. It’s all about documenting the real moments while still letting you live them.
-
You’re speaking my language. I’m team “chill adventure” over “Type 2 fun” so you do not have to hike 10 miles to get jaw-dropping views. I know all the spots with that wow factor without needing trekking poles or a survival pack.
If you are the summit-at-sunrise kind of crew, I’ve got adventurous photog pals who live for that. But if you’re here for laid-back magic, I’m your gal!
-
I’m not here to judge how you two interact with each other. I’m here for everything. The subtle glances. The belly laughs. The quiet silences. We’re making time for your actual dynamic - not forcing you into something you’re not :)
Also, high fellow member of team awkward!
-
Once your booked, you basically unlock your own personal elopement guide (hi!). I’ll walk you through the fun stuff. The not so fun stuff (backup plans, eww). We’ll talk big picture and little details.
You’ll also get a custom location list, timeline help, vendor rects, packing tips, activity ideas, you name it. I’m also the type of person you can text at 10pm like “IS THIS DRESS TOO POOFY FOR WALKING IN THE WOODS?” an I will answer (probably the next morning because I’m old, but still).
-
THIS IS NOT A DRILL! In Colorado, you can self solemnize so you need no witnesses or officiant - and the state allows you to ink stamp your pups paw print onto your marriage license. It’s adorable. It’s legal. Just one more reason why Colorado is the GOAT (or should I say GOATB, Goodest Of All The Boys).

Ready for the Easiest Yes of Your Life?
Here’s How to Book:
Step 1: Reach Out
I know you’ve probably looked through a hundred websites by now and are super overwhelmed SO - let’s just hop on a call and talk! We can bounce ideas, talk seasons, get to know each other, and I promise it will all become a little less scary. Fill out the contact form below to get that ball-a-rollin’.
Step 2: Give me the Deets
This is where I get really nosey. How did you meet (I promise I won’t judge if you met on tinder because, same)! How long have you been together! What do you like to do together! On a scale of 1 to 10 how excited are you to not having to go into debt for your wedding (I’m looking at you - Netflix's “Marriage or Mortgage”)!
Step 3: Secure Your Date
If we all jive and vibe and the feelin’s are all mutual, I’ll send over a contract outlining the proposal and services. Signing the contract and submitting a non-refundable retainer via ACH or bank transfer secures your date, so we can officially start planning your adventure together!!!!! Then basically I take it from there.
What to Expect After Booking
Welcome & Planning
Once you’re booked, I’ll send you a 100+ page elopement guide and a fun questionnaire to get to know you better. This is your chance to share your vision, favorite activities, and all the little details that make you two unique!
Location Scouting & Ideas
After reviewing your questionnaire, I’ll scout the perfect locations for your ceremony, photos, and activities. We’ll hop on a video call to review the options, and I’ll share vendor referrals, activity ideas, and more!
Pre-Wedding Prep
As the date approaches, I’ll send an overwhelming amount of tips on things like writing your vows, getting your marriage license, not stressing about “posing”. I’ll also create a super flexible timeline to ensure we’re in the right place at the right time for the best lighting and to make me as prepared as possible for our time together.
Your Wedding Day
I swear it will be here before you know it - and then it will be over before you know it. So be present, soak in the emotions, sip champagne, and celebrate! Don’t worry about the photos - I’ll be third wheelin’ to my hearts content. And afterward, you’ll receive a sneak peek of your gallery, with the full gallery delivered in 6 to 8 weeks!
